Need new ideas for your blog photos?

How about getting up at the crack of dawn and twirling around like a ballerina, in a flouncy, corset dress (by Forever 21, natch)?

Pose in front of an epic landscape? No...still not enough.

What about going for a jog?

Or taking a leap into the unknown?

Or going for a swim. Yes, a swim. Perfect!

Nothing like leaping into a pool with your clothes on. Sigh. Sometimes, I question my sanity.

This was my last "pre-work" swim, as our new digs won't have a pool (but will have a yard, and thanks to me, a Slip n' Slide). I'm actually very sad about moving. I know I'm not really saying goodbye since I still own the apartment, but I have lived here for three years and I will just really miss living downtown. Like, a lot. It's my home. I love the West End.

But, as my boyfriend says, our current conditions will be temporary and by winter we should be in our new place. One that will also be downtown, preferably in the West End or Yaletown, and though it will probably not have a pool on the roof, it will have a balcony, insuite laundry, allow pets, a den, room to move, a bigger closet and - as my bf added - a Playstation 3. I'll be keeping that goal in mind when I find myself pining for my wee downtown studio this summer.

Hope you are all having a Fabulous Friday and Fourth of July weekend! Remember to check back here over the weekend as I might have posted my Forever 21 dress giveaway!

PS - Eyeliah, I did all these shots sans makeup - just for you!! But it was 630AM so I hope you all excuse me for looking tired!

OMG, I can't believe you jumped in the pool! Your awesome! Love the photos!

Love the dress too.

A new place in a few months? How exciting. That's great that you own your own place. Can't do that here in so Cal-it's insanely expensive even with the crappy economy and housing market situation. Kudos for you :)

The hubby just sold two items on eBay and apparently the money "is on hold" until shipped out? Very odd.

Anyway, your package will go out first thing Monday AM, ok, dear? Thanks for understanding.

That's you with no makeup? Excuse me while I go into my hole and hide...

I have alwasy wanted to jump into a pool with a cute little dress on. Not sure why. I have been pushed in all clothed against my will which is NOT fun.

Your place looks amazing. The views and the pool, so cool! I have to come up there and experience the beauty that is your city.

Adorable dress. Bravo to you for jumping into the pool--swimming in clothes definitely tends to be more fun that swimming in an actual suit!

I wanted to write about my personal style but realized I have so few pictures of my full body... likely because any picture is a self-portrait.

I envy your "personal photog". :)
