Greek Goddess of Thunder

I haven't done outfit photos in a while, so I've kind of lost my touch. But I will be doing more of them, I promise, for you strange people out there who think I have style of some sort :P

I never got to wear this dress this summer and even though the days are rapidly growing shorter, and it feels a lot cooler to boot, I thought I would get one last Grecian hurrah out of it. Later, a thunderstorm came to visit - brought on by my goddess powers?

Dress: Rachel Pally; Sandals: GoJane; Bracelets: F21; Leather bag and belt: thrifted in Finland

Yeah, speaking of the end, Starbucks has their Pumpkin Spice Lattes out and I don't even want to THINK about it. End of summmer... don't even wanna talk about it. I hold on to summer for as long as and dearly as I can but once I realize it's over, I embrace fall heartily. The changing leaves, the sunshine, the crisp nights, Halloween, boots... boots.... more boots.

Of course you have to plan for rain too - especially in Vancouver and especially as Fall turns into winter. So, why not do up your rainboots fashionably? I've got a coupon code here for 10% off at Plueys - they have a lot of rad, unusual rainboots. I like THIS one because it's not too precious.

www.plueys.com - enter "Karinalovesplueys" at checkout for 10%. This applies to US and Canuck purchases only and ends October 25th :)

I love how you change your nail color a lot, that takes incredible motivation (that I wish I had as far as nail polish goes)! :)

You do absolutely look like a Greek Goddess in those photos. i think the attitude and expression have more to do with it than the lovely outfit. The again, maybe it's just that you really are a goddess. Great photo of the thunderstorm you summoned too.
